Quick answers to common questions about the IMC Vendor Portal.
You will see a message indicating that you don't have access yet. Submit an access request with a brief reason (your vendor name and role), and it will be sent to your company's administrator for approval. See Log In and Request Access.
Sign In and Request Access
Sign in for the first time, and request access if you don't have an account set up yet.
Look for a password reset option on the login screen. If that doesn't resolve the issue, ask your vendor administrator to select Reset Password for your account from User Administration. If you don't know who your administrator is, contact your IMC vendor representative.
What you can see and do depends on your assigned role group (role + region + vendor). If you need access to something that is not visible, contact your vendor administrator to review your role.
Managing Role Groups and Access
How role groups control what a user can see and do in the IMC Vendor Portal.
If you are a vendor administrator, go to User Administration, select Add User, and follow the instructions. See Add a New User for the complete steps.
Adding a User
Add a new user and assign their role groups, or clone them from an existing user.
Shipments that are still in Pending status hide driver and equipment details until you accept or reject them. This is intentional. See Accept or Reject a Single Shipment.
Accepting or Declining an Order
How to accept a Pending order, or decline it with a reason.
No — accepting or rejecting is currently a one-way action with no undo option. Contact support if you need help correcting a wrong response.
First, open the shipment, find the Driver card, and select Retransmit to resend the assignment. If that doesn't help, review the driver's user account in User Administration — confirm that their status is Active and that their role group includes the Driver role. If everything looks correct, ask the driver to log out and log back in to Power Direct. See Retransmit a Driver Assignment.
Not directly — today you can only assign or change the driver, not remove them completely. Contact support if you need a driver removed.
"Not found" means the container/chassis number was not in the stack — verify it. "Not eligible" means it is not available for self-assignment at this time. "Already assigned" means someone else already claimed it. See SmartStacks: Claim a Container.
Claiming a Container with SmartStacks
Self-assign a container from the yard's peel pile without waiting on a dispatcher.
Not yet — the portal currently displays billing status as read-only. Submission is planned for a future release. Continue using your existing process outside the portal until its availability is announced. See Billing Status.
