After you accept an order, assign a driver before the shipment moves forward.
Assigning a Driver
Open the Accepted order.
Use the driver assignment action on the order.
Select a driver from your company's driver list.
Save the assignment.
Important
A driver must already exist in your driver list before you can assign them to a shipment.
You can reassign a driver on an order if plans change, as long as the shipment hasn't moved to Completed.
