A quick orientation to the IMC Vendor Portal — what it does, who uses it, and how it relates to the Power Direct driver application.
Overview
The IMC Vendor Portal is IMC Logistics' web portal for vendors and carriers. It's where you can view assigned shipments, respond to new loads, assign drivers, and (coming soon) manage billing.
It's used by two groups:
Vendors and carriers — transportation companies that move cargo for IMC. They use the portal to view and respond to assigned shipments, assign drivers, claim containers, and manage their company's users.
IMC internal staff — operations teams who oversee shipments and provide support to vendor relationships.
What You Can Do Today
Shipments
View, search, and filter all shipments assigned to your company. Accept or reject pending shipments, and enter shipment data such as seal number, piece count, and weight.
Driver Assignment
Assign or change the driver on a shipment movement directly from the shipment details panel.
SmartStacks
Auto-assigns a yard stack container without waiting for a dispatcher.
User Management
Vendor administrators can add, edit, and manage people at your company with portal access, and approve new access requests.
The Load Board and full invoice submission are planned for a future release and are not yet available on the portal.
Power Direct — The Driver App
Drivers do not use the Vendor Portal directly — they use Power Direct, IMC's complementary mobile app. When you assign a driver to a shipment on the portal, the assignment is sent to that driver's Power Direct app.
